Scope of Services:

• Improvement of a revitalization concept at city core of ancient Chang’An,
• the park marks the starting point of the legendary historic silk road.

Description:

• Establishing a criteria catalog for sustainable building,
• weighting the criteria under aspects of the goal of the competition,
• preparing a study and a presentation. Sociocultural aspects got a high portion.

Design won an international town planning competition.

Feasibility Study for operating nostalgia trains on a decommissioned railway line section near  Solothurn, Switzerland.

Client: DBB – Verein Dampfbahn Bern.

Period of Performance: 02/2008 – ongoing.

Scope of Services: Feasibility Study.

Description: Reactivation for historical trains of a decommissioned railway line section. At the outset of the project a feasibility study was prepared. Subsequently revitalization of an abandoned industrial area for building a new museum for historical trains and a new depot for them was addressed. Part of the planning were all buildings and the museum concept.

 “LANDROCK” Country Mansion Renovation

Client: Private Owner.

Period of Performance: 02/2008 – 07/2009.

Scope of Services:  Feasibility study, renovation concept, cost estimate, design documentation including calculation of costs for various options.

Description: The Landrock cottage is a representative country mansion, typical for the Chiemgau countryside in Bavaria, Germany.

Task of the project: Energy saving renovation with insulation. Heating only with renewable energy methods. Exterior view of facade had to be kept.
